 February 27, 2008 - DANVILLE, VA – In anticipation of their 15th Anniversary, the Danville Braves released a 15th Anniversary logo for the 2008 season. The Braves have a long history in the Appalachian League and relocated their Rookie-Advanced team to Danville in 1993. Some of the players to come through Danville on their way to Major League Baseball include Jeff Francoeur, Chuck James, Yunel Escobar, Jo-Jo Reyes, Andruw Jones, Rafael Furcal, and Adam Wainwright.

 PULASKI, VA - After a one-year absence, the city of Pulaski, VA will once again be a host venue for Appalachian League baseball, this time as an affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The announcement of the agreement was revealed in a morning press conference on December 21 in Pulaski. |
